While running a "Test" on one particular Resource, I get the following message In the Test Results Details, "A problem occurred while trying to parse the directory listing into a list of remote files. Although GoAnywhere successfully connected to the server, the tasks using this resource may not function properly."
This Resource does contain many folders and varied data.
And, in fact, when I try to use this Resource in a Project, it never finds any files - even though they are readily available through other software like WS-FTP.
Does anyone know what causes this problem or have any hints as to what to correct in GoAnywhere and/or the Resource? I am running 4.2 from an iSeries V5R4.

The default list parser is UNIX. Normally you will see this error when the server you are trying to connect to is a Windows server. Try changing the List Parser for the resource to Windows.

Pam,
It could be that the user has it configured differently. There are other options on the List Parser. Try each until you find one that will allow you to parse the file list correctly.
