In HP-UX 11iv3, I changed the maxfiles and maxfiles_lim in Kernel Tunables and I haven't seen the error since I changed them and performed the required server reboot.

I'm just connecting to a SFTP server to send a file and received an "OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread" This is the only thing running on my HP-UX server with 48 GB of memory.
