Best practice file cluster for Goanywhere Services/MFT

Clustering allows two or more GoAnywhere Services/MFT installations (systems) to work together to provide file services. All systems in the cluster must point to the same set of shared folders for storing documents.
What is the best way to setup this shared folder with Microsoft Servers?
My aproach was to install a Failover Cluster 2012R2 and connect the provided shared disk to Goanywhere Services/MFT.
Does anyone have experience with such a cluster solution with goanywhere?
Or can someone tell me another way with a fail-safe storage solution.

Stefan,

GoAnywhere was designed to be flexible enough to fit pretty much any business need when it comes to melding into a Network Architecture. With that being said, there is no "better" way to fit it into a pre-defined network.

We have people using DFS Servers and connecting both GAMFT servers to this File Server. Then, when necessary, pointing both to the D/R version. A simple option.

We also have people using an external servers (NFS, Isilon, SAN, etc) and utilizing the mirroring images there. So, there are so many options that could be utilized in this scenario.
