Question:

Can I install a GoAnywhere MFT cluster divided over several datacenters?

Answer:

In general, we advise against putting one GAMFT installation in a data center and one in another due to possible latency issues.

There can be bandwidth and/or latency delays at any time within the network infrastructure between the two datacenters. This can restrict the necessary communication between GAMFT nodes in a timely fashion.

We suggest the customers test the process thoroughly to make sure it works in their network, but keep in mind that any delay in the Node to Node communication could cause issues and possibly shut down one or both nodes.
