I have a csv file that I read into a rowset. I need to write the data out to csv (or excel), but want to reorder the columns on the output file. Can GoAnywhere do that? Or will I need to insert the rowset data into a database and then query the fields in the desired order? Thanks!

You are in luck! With version 4.6.0 of GoAnywhere Director, there is a new project task called Modify Rowset that will allow you to do exactly what you need. You can take an input rowset and adjust the order of columns, combine columns, scrub/filter data, and more. Rick put together a great post in our Example Projects section that shows the power of this task.

I would recommend you upgrade to the latest 4.6.1 version to take full advantage of all the new features and improvements we have made to GoAnywhere Director. 4.6 was a big release full of new functionality. You can view the release notes to learn more about this release.

Thanks - Jon
