I receive 20 - 50 encrypted .csv files each night from my largest customer. I have generated a key pair and sent the public key to the customer. They use it to encrypt the files, which I FTP down to my laptop. When I try to decrypt the files, the Enter Password" box appears that says "these files were encrypted with the following files". It shows no key at all and whether I enter the password of not, I get a message that says, "No matching key found in your key ring." I think this means the secret key is not found or associated with the file to be decrypted but I cannot find out how to make the association. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Hello,

For the key pair you generated, did you create this in GoAnywhere OpenPGP Studio or another application?
If you did not use OpenPGP Studio to create it, you will need to include the key pair in your current key store.

If you did create the key pair and are currently pointing to the keystore location with where it resides, then please confirm with your trading partner that they are infact using your provided public key to encrypt their files.

Thanks - Jon

Here is a great video that explains how OpenPGP Studio works that is worth the watch.
