Hello Community,

In GAMFT (my current version is 5.4.3), the copy/transfer file(s) function has a parameter option to rename the file if it already exists at the destination. I see the way it does this is by adding a <space><index> value before the extension of the filename. In Linux, this is cumbersome as spaces are treated as parameter separation when we acces the files through the shell. Is there any place in GAMFT I could change the <space> character to a value like <underscore> for all things renamed?

Thanks

Guyzer,

This has been requested by several other customers to handle that type of rename for linux users. If we could get you to fill out an Enhancement Request asking for this enhancement, this could possibly be included with a future release.

Please contact our support group to request the Enhancement Request form at [email protected]

Thanks!
