file winrar

it is possible to decompress a winrar file.
with unzip gives me the following error:
INFO Preparing to extract file 'C:\operadores\procesos\workspace\file.rar'
ERROR [8098 - unrar IT BPA MENSUAL] The central directory was not found.
with unzip gives me the following error:
