Hello -

We currently have upgraded to version 2.3.0 and have a permanent license. When we start the service, or run a ./gagateway license command we are getting this error message

"Refreshing license...
Failed to refresh license: Remote host closed connection during handshake"

and the error in the log is as followed....

"2017-04-06 10:24:51 PM INFO Starting Gateway Server

Is there a java setting that needs to be changed or added for this new version? Thank You.

Is the gagateway.lic file located in the base install of the server that is hosting the Gateway? What version were you upgrading from? If you open up a command prompt from the base installation directory and run the 'gagateway license' command do you get license information?

Hey Dan

Yes the license is in the installation directory. Although it is named gateway.lic rather than gagateway.lic. In the user guide it says gateway.lic, so I followed that naming convention. 1.x is what the product information on the old gateway is showing.

When I run a ./gagateway license I get the message below

[root@gagtwyld01 GoAnywhere_Gateway]# ./gagateway license
Refreshing license...
Failed to refresh license: Remote host closed connection during handshake
