GoAnywhere users now have the capability to transfer their GAMFT licenses from one server to another by utilizing their Customer Portal and activating or deactivating their license key(s).

For New Installations:
Use the following instructions to activate your license when INSTALLING GoAnywhere MFT for the first time:

1. Install GoAnywhere MFT and log in to the Administrator.
2. From the main menu bar, point to Help, and then click License.
3. In the License page, click the Get License Key button. You will be redirected to the GoAnywhere Customer Portal Get License page.
4. From the Customer Portal Get License page, click the Inactive evaluation license you want to activate.
5. Click the Activate button.
6. You will be returned to the License page in GoAnywhere and the active licensed features are displayed.

For Upgrades:
Use the following instructions to activate your license when UPGRADING an existing installation of GoAnywhere Director or GoAnywhere Services to GoAnywhere MFT:

1. Run the upgrade file on your server. You will be presented with a base 64 encoded license bundle key.
2. Copy the license bundle, and then log in to the GoAnywhere Customer Portal.
3. From the Customer Portal, click the Licenses menu item, and then find the Inactive evaluation license key.
4. Select the evaluation license key to expand the row, and then click the Activate button that appears on the left.
5. Paste the license bundle copied from step 2 into the activation field, and then click the Activate button.
6. Once the license has been activated, click the Download button to download the gamft.lic file.
7. Copy the gamft.lic file to the Install Directory for GoAnywhere, and then run the upgrade script again.
8. Once you have completed the upgrade with the temporary license, send an email to Sales@LinomaSoftware requesting your permanent license

*NOTE* -- If you are upgrading a license of GoAnywhere Director and GoAnywhere Services into ONE license of GoAnywhere MFT, please contact support if you have any questions on which product should be upgraded first.

For Migrations:
Use the following instructions to activate your license when MIGRATING GoAnywhere MFT from one server to another:

1. Log onto GoAnywhere MFT as the Administrator.
2. From the main menu bar, point to Help, and then click License.
3. In the License page, click the Deactivate button. You will be redirected to the GoAnywhere Customer Portal.
4. You will be asked to verify if you want to deactivate the current license. Please make sure you verify the server ID before continuing.
5. Click the Continue button to deactivate the current license.
6. Log onto the New GoAnywhere MFT Server as the Administrator
7. From the main menu bar, point to Help, and then click License.
8. In the License page, click the Activate button. You will be redirected to the GoAnywhere Customer Portal Get License page.
9. From the Customer Portal Activate License page, click the Activate button next to the license you want to activate.
10. You will be returned to the License page in GoAnywhere and the active licensed features are displayed.
