As new versions of browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) come out we continually check our applications for compatibility. In a recent test of Internet Explorer 8 we noticed a crucial issue that you should be aware of when using this browser version.

Problem:
While navigating between certain pages or sections in GoAnywhere the page background will turn blue and a wheel will spin to indicate that the server is processing. In Internet Explorer version 8 the screen will not rerender and the wheel will keep spinning.

Resolution:
If your screen becomes locked up due to the rerending issue you can always go back to the home page by removing everything after /goanywhere in the URL and pushing the enter key. To prevent this from happening in the future go to the Tools menu and select the Compatibility View option. This will refresh your page to work in compatibility mode, which resolves this issue. Note: A case has been opened up and a fix will be bundled into a future release or patch.
