Mounting SCP in Windows

Hi!

There's something I need and I'm wondering whether any of the GoAnywhere products provides it.

I have access to a directory in Linux using SSH/SCP. I want to mount that directory in Windows so I could access it like any network drive, and open the files in it with any Windows program. Is that possible?

Thanks,
Ram.

The user that starts GoAnywhere must have permissions to the fileshare. If that can be accomplished, then yes. Otherwise, there are network resources built into GoAnywhere that allows you to connect with UserID/Password access to a share.

Thank you Rick! I downloaded GoAnywhere MFT now. I installed both the main program and the CLI, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I looked at the manuals and couldn't find it.

If it's possible to do it with the CLI, that'll be best for me.

Can you please explain how to do what I want?

Thanks,
Ram.

Also... Is it required for the SSH server to be running GoAnywhere?

Using UNC addressing within GAMFT requires one of 2 things ...

1. Starting the GoAnywhere service with the UserID/Password combination that has permissions to the FileShare
2. Utilizing the Network Share resource to get direct access to the FileShare

*Note*
Linux users can do the direct OS Mount (Auto-Mount) addressing for use within GAMFT

As far as a direct link to an SSH Server through GAMFT as a direct FileShare location isn't available, yet.

I have the same thing to say as the first comment about that ...
