Hi,

I'm executing a project that has a native program call task. The project executes all steps till the program call in a second, but takes forever to execute the call to my rpgle program (called with 3 parameters). I ran my program in system i and am sure its not in an infinite loop. Why does Goanywhere takes such a long time to execute a program call? I have the latest version of GoAnywhere installed which is GoAnywhere Director 4.3.3.

NB: I had also set the priority of project to 1, still no difference.

Shoma,

Not having your Project XML, I can't give you a definitive answer, but there is a difference between the "Native" call and the "Execute IBMi Command/Program" call. Make sure you're using the later task and you are identifying the Library and RPGLE executable name for the call.

Also, the latest version of GADirector is 4.6. If you are up-to-date with your Maintenance fees, these upgrades are available to you from the Administration | Check for updates menu item.
