Mozilla Firefox version 3.x has some undesirable behavior in GoAnywhere when passwords are saved for the site. In GoAnywhere if you are editing a task that uses a resource connection like (FTP, FTPS, SFTP, SQL, etc) and you specify the user id in the advanced tab, Firefox will automatically input the password when you click on the Save button.

When you log into GoAnywhere for the first time Firefox will prompt you to save your password for this site. If you tell Firefox to save this information it will not only use the username/password for the login page, but also for any subsequent pages in the GoAnywhere application.

A quick way to work around this issue is to open your Firefox browser and click on the Tools menu and select the Options menu item. On the Security tab there is a section labeled Passwords. Click on the Save Passwords button and remove the GoAnywhere site from the list. The next time you log into GoAnywhere it will prompt you to save your password. Click the "Never for This Site" option.
