Question:
I created a resource and when I test the resource I get a successful response. I can also use that resource in my project and browse to find the folder and file I want. But, when I run the project I get an error that says "authentication failed". Why does it not authenticate when I'm running the project?
Answer:
The error is likely a result of the resource password containing a dollar sign ($) character. The dollar sign is interpreted by the GoAnywhere compiler as a special character. It is recommended to encrypt the password by clicking on the encrypt button next to the password field and setting the attribute "Is Password Encrypted" to 'true'.
