Hey all,

Recently our Messaging Team decided to change our SMTP connector to something more secure. They've supplied the SMTP server and port which now requires a username and password to connect - not sure if either implicit or explicit ssl is required. When I enter the appropriate variables - server address, port, username, password, I'm able to perform a test without issue. However, clients are now unable to send mail. The logs show the following message: "Failed to send recipient email: Unable to get SMTP transport from the pool".

I expect this has to do with the certificate on the SMTP server not being in the trusted store within the software?

Just wondering if anyone's seen this and can help out.

Cheers,
Carter

Make sure that the administrator of the email server enables SMTP Relaying to allow the IP address of the GoAnywhere Server to forward email thru the SMTP server.
