Project Example Usage and Instructions

The examples you see in this forum are purely for demonstration purposes only. If you decide to use an example project you will need to modify it (paths, names, tasks, etc) to meet your needs.

Projects are stored in an XML format inside of GoAnywhere. The examples you see in this forum may be complete projects or snippets of a project XML. If you would like to run one of these projects there are a few ways you can load the projects into your GoAnywhere system.

If you have the complete XML the easiest way to use the project is to import the project.

Sign into GoAnywhere
Click on the Projects menu
Click on the Import Project button
Specify the file that contains the Project XML
Edit the project to meet your needs

You can also override/edit snippets of the XML file by doing the following steps.

Sign into GoAnywhere
Click on the Projects menu
Click on the pencil icon to edit a project
Click on the Show XML button
Paste a snippet stored in your clipboard or edit the XML accordingly
