Extended passive mode

I am an AS400 user. I understand that I can select active or passive mode in the FTP server resource connection tab. Is this standard passive or extended passive?
I know from my own experiments that extended passive can run at twice the speed of standard passive mode. So I want to use extended passive mode whenever possible. Is it possible to use? Please let me know, thanks.

Standard Passive (PASV) and Extended Passive (ESPV) are supported and determined automatically by GoAnywhere. If the target server you are connecting to is an IPv6 host, then EPSV will be used when establishing the data connection. The specific command will be determined by the client and server.
The "select" you are referring to on the Resource Connection tab just enables Passive Mode in general.
